The V3 has been redesigned to afford high levels of safety, fit and comfort. It is lighter and has an improved ventilation system. The new V3 is characterised by incorporating the MVRS system (its visor is held via magnets). It is the most advanced helmet of the brand.

Technical features:

• Shell made of extremely lightweight, multi composite fibre technology (weight is reduced by 100 grams).
• 4 shell sizes and 4 interior EPS sizes to fit perfectly to the physical constitution of each rider.
• MRVS (Magnetic Visor Release System): This system, patented by Fox, eliminates the visor screws and replaces them with magnets that help the visor to release easily in the event of a crash.
•  MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System): The V3 incorporates an important innovation: MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System). The impact tests on conventional helmets are carried out by letting them fall vertically onto a rigid surface. This new system is based on the fact that, during an accident, more often than not, the head does not vertically impact against the floor but at a different angle, exerting a rotation force on the brain and causing greater damage. With the MIPS system, the helmet absorbs between 25 and 35% more of this rotational energy, providing the rider with radically improved protection. The brain is surrounded by cerebrospinal fluid that acts as a “cushion” to avoid friction as much as possible. The MIPS system endows the helmet with its own “cushion” for minimising friction; it consists of a layer placed between the EPS foam and the inner padding that provides a greater absorption of the energy generated by an angular impact. The combination of the brain’s natural protection together with the MIPS system guarantees maximum protection.
• Ventilation system consisting of 14 air inlets and 4 extractors on the rear which facilitate the removal of hot air from inside the helmet.
• Removable and washable inner padding, extremely comfortable. Characterised for their high breathability and sweat wicking capacity.
